Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) is a program that provides systematic Information to U.S. beef producers of how good husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management conditions.
Ohio State University Extension in Trumbull County provides yearly training for those looking to obtain their BQA certification or for those who need to renew their certification. This program will cover carcass quality, injection protocol, and animal handling. THese topics will provide you with a BQA certification, and ultimately impact your success at marketing.
