Would you like to become a trained Master Gardener? Here is your chance. We are now accepting applications for the 2026 Trumbull County Master Gardener Volunteer course. You will receive 50 hours of training in vegetables, flowers, trees, shrubs, soil, insects, diseases, and more. You will have the opportunity to join other gardeners in learning both online and in-person in this hybrid course.Once you have gained knowledge in the various subject areas, you will have the opportunity to volunteer throughout the community and share your knowledge. Serving others in your community brings immense satisfaction as you help them grow, learn, develop, and succeed. Additionally, volunteering provides you an opportunity to gain new skills, help others, and meet new friends. We hope that you recognize the tremendous benefits of volunteering and will join. In turn you share your knowledge with others by answering questions, consulting on service projects, presenting programs for both adults and children, etc.

First, follow this link and create a volunteer account. After the volunteer account is created, you will be prompted to fill out an application as a Potential Volunteer. If not prompted, follow the "Forms" tab at the top of the page and fill out a new volunteer application.
Applications are being accepted from September 2 to December 5, 2025. Please allow time to hear from us after your application is submitted, as applications will be under review. We will be in touch regarding your application, no later than December 12th. If you believe you have submitted an application and have not received an email or phone call by December 12th, please contact our office as soon as possible.
