Participants will investigate the principles of observation and assessment. Exploring how assessment helps
educators and families work together to ask the questions and find the answers about young children’s
development and learning. We will explore ways to create a learning environment appropriate for young
children, different strategies and methods to collect objective evidence and communicate effectively with

Explore the NAEYC Code of Ethics in a lively hands-on interactive format. Participants will investigate how
personal values and morals shape their understanding of right and wrong and how the code can be a
powerful framework so that all early childhood professionals are using the same guidelines to evaluate

2023 NORTHEAST OHIO PRIVATE PESTICIDE & FERTILIZER RECERTIFICATION COURSE
Does your Private Pesticide Applicator’s License expire on March 31, 2023? If so, OSU Extension in Northeast Ohio has planned four pesticide re-certification sessions for producers.
Each of these sessions will offer 3 credits for pesticide re-certification for CORE and All Categories (1-7). Private Pesticide Applicators are encouraged to choose the session which best fits their schedule.
