    Beef Quality Assurance Training This program offers the opportunity to earn your certification or renew your expiring certification. The certification cycle is three years. Topics will include carcass quality, injection protocol, and animal handling for BQA certification and to ultimately impact your success at marketing. Cost: There is a $10 fee for the class. Please pay with cash or check or check only. NO credit cards accepted. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

    Master Gardener Volunteers Presents: Wednesdays in the Classroom Topic: Mason Bees and Honeybees This is a free class and no registration is required. The class starts at 6:00pm and usually runs about an hour. It will be held inside the Ohio State Extension Building. If you have garden questions, don't forget  you can call the OSU Master Gardener Volunteer Helpdesk  April through October on Tuesdays, 9:00am - 11:30am at 330-638-6783

    Seed saving is a trend that's growing among gardeners at all levels of experience.  Learn the basics of how to collect and save seeds from flowers, herbs and vegetables from your garden.  You'll learn the difference between saving dry and wet seeds and understand which flowers and plants you can save seeds from.  You'll also learn the best way to store your seeds to increase viability.

    This presenter will discuss the importance of pollinator plants and milkweed for the monarchs,  the migration routes, and the clues Monarchs use to start migrating south In the fall. We will discuss tagging butterflies and the research from Monarch Watch.org.
