Dining With Diabetes

Learn about cooking and nutrition for people with diabetes and family members. This is a series of four classes with cooking demonstrations that will help you learn healthy techniques to use in your own kitchen. The program includes sampling healthy foods and discussion with a dietitian or certified diabetes educator. The class is open to anyone with concerns about diabetes or anyone interested in controlling blood sugar through diet. The class will be held at The Agriculture and Family Education Building, 520 W. Main St., Cortland, OH 44410 on October 1, 8, 15 & 22 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $30.00 for the series of classes. Please reserve your spot by September 27, 2018.     Join us for the 2018 Spooktacular Whitewood Event on Friday, October 26th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Camp Whitewood located at 7982 S. Wiswell Rd in Windsor, OH. Event is FREE to all ages! Some of the activities include: Pumpkin Bowling, Lantern Hike, Gourd Painting, Trick-or-Treating, Costume Contest, Camp Tours & more! 4-H and Camp Whitewood will be sharing information on upcoming summer camps and other activities! Food will also be available for purchase.

    Looking for a night of family fun? Have you wondered about joining 4-H? Look no further! Come join us for the 5th Annual Trumbull County 4-H Kickoff on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The 4-H Kickoff is a FREE event for all ages and is sponsored by the Trumbull County 4-H Advisory Committee. 4-H youth and volunteers are excited to share club information, showcase annual projects and share activities.
