Dining With Diabetes

Learn about cooking and nutrition for people with diabetes and family members. This is a series of four classes with cooking demonstrations that will help you learn healthy techniques to use in your own kitchen. The program includes sampling healthy foods and discussion with a dietitian or certified diabetes educator. The class is open to anyone with concerns about diabetes or anyone interested in controlling blood sugar through diet. The class will be held at The Agriculture and Family Education Building, 520 W. Main St., Cortland, OH 44410.     The holidays present special challenges for individuals with diabetes. Take Charge of Your Diabetes During the Holidays will provide you with tips for managing your diabetes during the holidays. You will learn how to prepare favorite holiday foods that are both nutritious and delicious. Cooking demonstrations and tastings will be provided.
