About Agriculture and Natural Resources
The Agriculture and Natural Resources Programs in Trumbull County focus on key issues and interests relevant to all citizens, from rural to urban. As has been our mission for over 80 years, we provide a wide range of current, objective, research-based information and educational seminars to help farmers and other agribusinesses succeed. (Agricultural estate planning, livestock and crop production, horticultural business management skills and pesticide applicator training are just a few of the many informative program topics offered in our county.) Our Agriculture Extension efforts also encompass many services and programs. We offer soil testing, diagnose lawn, garden and landscape plant problems, pests and diseases, and provide recommendations for the safe use of pesticides. We look forward to continuing our role of educational support to Ohio Agriculture - our state’s number one industry, and enhancing the quality of life in Trumbull County.
