Perennial Selections for Shaded Areas” workshop to be held on March 14, 2013 in Cortland, Ohio


OSU Extension and the Trumbull County Master Gardeners invite you to attend a workshop titled “Perennial Selections for Shaded Areas” on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Trumbull County Extension located at 520 West Main Street in Cortland, Ohio

Selecting plants doe shady areas is often considered a challenge.  However, with a little thought and planning it can become a gardening opportunity.  Participants of this class will learn how to liven up shady areas with splashes of color and durable plants that meet the challenges of both moist and dry shade.  So if you have a shady area in your garden, you will want to take time to attend this class.

The registration fee for this class will be $15 per person and reservations are required. This class will be taught by nationally known speaker- Mr. Bill Hendricks, President of Klyn Nurseries, Inc.  Mail registration and check payable to OSU Extension to:  OSU Extension, 520 West Main Street, Cortland, Ohio  44041.  Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants.  First come, first served.
