Welcome to the Trumbull County Horticulture Program Ohio State University Extension in Trumbull County is a key source of consumer horticultural information and technical assistance to the homeowner. Under the guidence of an OSU Extension Educator, specially trained volunteer Master Gardeners are available on Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to answer homeowner questions by either phone or in person.You can reach the Master Gardeners by calling 330-637-3908. Samples may also be left at the OSU Extension office, located at 520 West Main St. in Cortland, on Monday - Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office is closed from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm for lunch and on Friday. You may reach OSU Extension by phoning 330-638-6783. In addition to the horticultural hotline, Master Gardeners also conduct plant clinics, serve as speakers for gardening talks, assist with research plots, maintain demonstration and research gardens, and carry out gardening projects with schools and civic organizations.
