Directions from the East

Take Rt. 82 W.  Bypass from Hubbard to the Elm Rd. Exit (Rt. 5).  At the end of the ramp, turn right on Rt.5 East. Rt. 5 will intersect with Rt. 46  North.(BP Station on the Right). Follow Rt. 46 North to a three way stop sign at the edge of Cortland (you will curve and cross the rail road tracks just prior to the intersection). Turn Right on West Main Street approximately ¼ mile. The Agricultural and Family Center is located on the right side of the road just before the cemetery.

Directions from the West

From Akron/Canton area, you can come either the turnpike or I-76 E.  If you are taking I-76, go East to the Rt. 44 North exit. Once you have completed the exit at Rt. 44 continue past McDonalds and the BP Station and take the first entrance ramp/road ( Rt 5 East) to right.  Follow Rt 5 to Warren.  You will  pass the old Ravenna Arsenal  Continue under the Turnpike overpass and read the directions written below.

Directions from the Ohio Turnpike

Get off Turnpike Exit #209. Follow the signs for  Warren and Rt. 5 East.  Stay on Rt 5 to the fifth exit (Elm Rd/ Rt. 5) When you come off the ramp, turn right onto Elm Rd. Once onto Elm Rd., move into the left lane Rt. 5 will intersect with Rt. 46  North(BP Station on the Right)  Follow Rt. 46 North to a three way stop sign at the edge of Cortland (you will curve and cross the rail road tracks just prior to the intersection). Turn right on West Main Street approximately ¼ mile. The Agricultural and Family Center is located on the right side of the road just before the cemetery.  Come into the front of the bldg, turn right down the short hall and the meeting room is on the left.

Directions from the South

If you are coming in from the Pennsylvania Turnpike West, continue onto the Ohio Turnpike to Exit #209 and follow the (directions from the Ohio Turnpike above).

If you are coming in on Interstate 77 North, exit onto Interstate 76 E. and follow the (directions from the West above).

Directions from the North

There are a number of routes coming in from the north.  Rt. 45, 46, 193, or Rt 7. 

Take Rt. 45 S. to Rt. 305 E.  (turn left).  Continue on Rt. 305 E until you cross Mosquito Lake and come to a stop sign.  Turn left at stop sign.  You will pass one (1) traffic light.  After passing light, turn on the first road to your left (not far) and continue on this road to the stop sign (cemetery will be in front of you).  Turn right at stop sign.  Go past cemetery and take first drive to left.  There is an OSU Extension sign at end of drive.

Take Rt. 11, 193 or Rt. 7 South to Rt. 305 West.  Turn right onto Rt. 305 West.  Take Rt. 305 West to Rt. 5.  Cross over Rt. 5 and a set of railroad tracks.  Go to traffic light, turn right and follow above directions from (turn on the first road to your left).

If you are coming in on Rt. 46 S., you will come through Mecca (Rt. 88), which is a traffic circle.  You want to continue on Rt. 46 (approximately another 5 miles) into Cortland to a stop sign.  At the Stop sign you will turn right.  Go to the last business drive on your right.  A sign with the OSU Extension name will be at the end of the drive.
