Join us for our 3rd Annual School to Farm Road Trip. This tour has been developed to help school service personnel & school administration on how they can increase the use of local agricultural products (vegetables, fruits, meats) in their school lunch program, farm fresh salad bars and at fundraisers and special events. During the day, we will visit a variety of farms to learn how schools can make the connection to local farms. For our 2014 tour held on July 30 from 8;30 -3:30, we will visit the Geauga Wholesale Market (a popular stop from 2012 & 2013) and then through Trumbull County to visit 3 vegetable & fruit farms.
